Our tracking devices are one of the most user-friendly on the market, especially in their installation. The devices can be installed on any vehicle in a matter of seconds by simply plugging them into a vehicle’s diagnostic port. We also offer a relocation cable if you would like to keep the device tucked out of the way, as well as a 6 or 9-pin connector cable for large trucks with an ECM port. Regardless of the vehicle, installation on average takes less than 10 seconds.

We can track anything you need to keep tabs on. Vehicles of all sizes, yellow metal, trailers of any size & shape, construction equipment as well as tools & machinery, just ask!

The plug n’ play tracking devices can be installed on any vehicle with a diagnostic or ECM port. This includes cars, vans, pick-ups, all the way to cab-overs, big rigs, and heavy equipment.

Our GPS systems cover all of the USA & Canada, and as of November 2009 we also offer GPS tracking in over 150 countries.

From time to time you will find yourself travelling through areas that don’t have any network coverage, when this happens the most GPS units will automatically store the vehicle tracking information and send it when your driver re-enters the coverage area.

You can login to the cloud-based fleet management software called MyGeotab from anywhere at anytime, and from any sort of device – including computer, tablet and phone. It works on iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Windows, Apple OS, etc. From here, you can manage all aspects of your fleet (routing, maps, reports, live tracking, etc).

Only the system administrators can see your accounts and information of all branches.

If you have an enterprise situation with multiple branches, it can be setup so headquarters has system administrator access to view everything, while branches only have access to their vehicles and relevant information. Geotab’s data is encrypted using SSL encryption similar to any major financial institutions.

The customer defines who has access to their database and what they have access to within it. Geotab employees can have to databases for troubleshooting purposes only, and this is largely on the approval of the customer. To ensure complete transparency and accountability, all access into a customer database is audited and stored indefinitely within the database log for the customer to see. Yes, data is updated from the device every 15-60 seconds, depending on how active the vehicle is.

The tracking system is accurate to 6 feet on a map. So by looking at a map of your vehicle, you could tell which parking spot the vehicle is slotted into.

Definitely. Our tracking devices have the first ever expandable USB port to connect devices such as Tablets, Dashcams, Garmin Navigation, or other vehicle sensors.
