Return & Cancellation Policies

At GPS to GO we truly stand behind the GPS related units & their accessories that we rent & we sell.

We are a full member of the Ottawa BBB & The Greater Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.

Warranties:

All of our products are warrantied by the manufacturer & GPS to GO will provide warranty replacement and/or repair as appropriate.

Unless otherwise stated we only sell factory new in box and fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The complete warranty card is most times included in the box with product. Most warranties cover repair or replacement of defective parts, subject to the conditions set forth by the manufacturer for one year.

Before You Call:

Please do make sure you have your registration information handy and contact us to help you out if needed.

Return of unopened items:

Please make sure to advise us immediately if you plan to return your GPS or accessory.

Remember you MUST obtain a written RMA (Return Material Authorization) number from GPS to GO from our support email ( please email support@gpstogo.ca) to return any product or item for repair or refund at all times. Items arriving at our Canadian Warehouse without a plainly visible RMA number indicated on the outside of the shipping carton / box will be refused & returned to sender. Items returning after the scheduled 30 days with proper RMA’s may be accepted solely at the discretion of GPS to GO.

These items are subject to a 20% re stocking fee.You may return unopened items within the 30 day period with no fee to receive store credit or exchange for another item of equal or greater value, For opened, non-defective items (excluding software), there is a 20% fee to receive store credit.

We establish the return period from the day we ship or install your order, we offer a 30-day return policy on all items unless otherwise noted. Your return must be received at our location by the 30th day after shipment of your order or your return will be refused.

Return of Installed Items:

All GPS systems once installed and live are subject to ongoing monthly data / web service fee’s each month by customer for said data air time.

Monthly data / web service fee’s begin immediately upon system activation & installation and are payable promptly upon billing by GPS to GO or its third party accounts receivable collection companies. There is a charge for any removal of rented units to the end user plus return shipping to GPS to GO that will be the responsibility & paid for by the customer once un- installed.
Please use a return shipping method which issues tracking or identification numbers and which requires a signature on delivery, so that you can be assured that the item has been received by our Returns Department. We will not be responsible for packages lost en route to us. Please insure your package for the proper amount to cover potential loss or damage.

Please note: You must return all exchanged/returned merchandise to us in the original factory condition, make sure to include all packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and all accessories. We will examine returned units & at its sole discretion refuse units that have been noticeably scratched, damaged, abused, or that are missing the factory original UPC Bar code on the box will not be accepted for return or credit. We will only offer a refund using the form of payment that was originally used by the customer.

Please ensure your original factory box is free of tape or marker/pen etc. Please check your order as soon as you receive it, we’re sure you will.

We only allow 48 hours from time of delivery to make any claims for missing items. If your package arrived with apparent damage or was open please check contents before you accept the package. If this is the case you may refuse the package.

Return of used GPS Devices for customer credit is done soley at the discretion of GPS to GO. Valuation of these credits is as well soley at the discretion of GPS to GO and may be applied if applicable to customer balances as directed by GPS toGO.

Cancellation of GPS TRACKING SERVICE:

Please remember you can stop your paid GPS MONTHLY TRACKING – ONLY with written confirmed numbered cancellation notice from support@gpstogo.ca You must send in this proper confirmed notice a full 2 weeks in advance OF THE NEXT BILLING MONTH to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle following. There are no refunds or partial payments for pro-rated days. Emails sent to personal emails of GPS to GO staff ARE NOT CONSIDERED ACCEPTABLE NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION.  Cancellation of GPS Tracking must be sent via email to support@gpstogo.ca.  Telephone calls or FAXES to GPS to GO staff are NOT accepted as proper termination or cancellation notice unless you receive a confirmed Cancellation number from support@gpstogo.ca. If you send in a written request through proper channels and do not receive a prompt response please do call us on the telephone to confirm at  1-888-477-8480, 1-613-695-0444 or 1-613-680-8402

Please remember, we do not monitor your daily usage of your purchased GPS Trackers and even unplugged units are still considered live devices by GPS to GO and incur full monthly tracking fee’s while in the customers possession until GPS to GO is properly notified to cancel, return, change service on these devices.
